As Head of Software & Indirect Material Purchasing, you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of your 8 employees and report to the Head of Division. You will define new projects independently and be responsible for the technical coordination of employees between the global locations in Poland and China with a focus on automation and digitalization. You will lead and support your employees in the implementation of their tasks, primarily through feedback discussions, and ensure the continuous development of work processes and employee potential in your department. You will delegate tasks to the teams, motivate team members and moderate conflicts in a solution-oriented manner. Your tasks will also include building and maintaining relationships with the top management of suppliers, further developing the global supplier portfolio and escalation management towards suppliers and internal customers Furthermore, you will define new processes and tools as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and support the roll-out of the SAP Ariba Suite and the preparation for the migration to SAP S4/HA.

You can prove that you have successfully completed a university degree in the subject area (business informatics, business administration, electrical engineering) and have at least 7 years of professional experience in purchasing in the automotive environment with purchasing responsibility You are a strong communicator and have an appropriate level of persuasiveness to lead a team of specialists. Excellent knowledge of machinery purchasing and service purchasing as well as knowledge of patent, contract, sales and general terms and conditions law is essential. Experience in leading global teams and business fluent English skills are also essential. You can look back on at least 7 years of professional experience as a manager in the AUOTOMOTIVE environment.
