Job responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilizing a variety of customer sales methods to reach target customers;
- Researching and generating or following up on sales leads;
- Assessing customer needs, skills and requirements to build long lasting relationships;
- Obtaining account programs, projects and opportunities that will generate sales;
- Attending exhibitions, conferences, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments;
- Reporting and providing feedback to management using financial and technical statistics;
- Forecasting sales from managed accounts and achieving personal sales targets;
- Maintaining and managing a database of customers within the assigned territory.
Job Requirements
Requirements and Skills:
- Experienced in sales;
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated and aggressive;
- 5+ years of experience in project management, sales or supply chain management in the automotive industry;
- Track record of exceeding quotas;
- Familiarity with various sales techniques and pipeline management;
- Product and technical knowledge of magnets and related applications preferred.
