Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Research the North American KOL landscape and identify highly relevant creators (macro, mid-tier, and niche influencers) with strong engagement and quality content; build and maintain a dynamic KOL database. Lead KOL collaboration planning, including defining partnership models, communication objectives, and content requirements; set pricing, manage budgets, and drive contract execution. Align with product teams on core product selling points and key messaging; monitor KOL content creation progress, review for compliance and brand alignment, and ensure timely publishing; resolve any collaboration issues promptly. Track KOL campaign performance metrics (impressions, views, engagement rate, sentiment, product link CTR/conversion) and deliver post-campaign reports; analyze best practices and identify optimization opportunities to maximize ROI. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key KOLs; share product updates and brand news regularly; invite them to participate in product trials, virtual launches, and community-building activities to foster “brand advocate” circles. Collaborate with the North America marketing team to align KOL campaigns with key marketing moments (e.g., CES, Black Friday, Christmas holiday season). Stay on top of North America tech trends, user feedback, and competitor influencer strategies; adjust KOL partnerships to ensure content relevance to local consumer needs (e.g., portability, ecosystem compatibility).
Job Requirements
Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field preferred. Fluent in English (work-level proficiency), with strong understanding of local cultural nuances. 3–5 years of KOL/influencer operations or overseas brand marketing experience in the North American market; experience in 3C smart hardware, AR/VR, or consumer electronics influencer marketing strongly preferred. Solid knowledge of major North American social/content platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Reddit) and influencer ecosystems; proven track record of successful influencer collaborations. Existing North America KOL network a plus; strong negotiation skills and ability to efficiently drive partnerships. Ability to assess influencer content quality and communication potential to ensure alignment with core product value. Strong data analysis skills with ROI-driven mindset; able to optimize strategies through campaign reviews. Deep understanding of North American culture, consumer behavior, and market regulations to mitigate risks in collaborations.
