Reports to: CEO
Position Overview
As the FBT Business Development Manager, you will be a core force in expanding our company's market in Thailand. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining key FBT client relationships in Bangkok, developing and executing local market entry strategies, and driving sales growth for the company's products/services. This is a highly challenging role requiring exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, keen market insight, and strong business development capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
1.Market Strategy & Development: Conduct in-depth research on the Thai new energy vehicle market and FBT industry trends, identify business opportunities, and formulate and execute effective market entry and business expansion strategies.
2.Client Development & Management: Proactively identify, engage, and sign potential FBT clients in Thailand, building and maintaining long-term, stable strategic partnerships.
3.Business Negotiation & Execution: Lead business negotiations, contract signing, and subsequent order management processes to ensure sales targets and profit goals are achieved.
4.Cross-departmental Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the company and clients, working closely with internal product, marketing, technical, and operations teams to ensure accurate understanding and efficient delivery of client requirements.
5.Brand Building: Represent the company at relevant industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events in Thailand and Shanghai, enhancing the company's brand awareness and influence within the region.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
1.Education: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.
2.Language: Fluent in English (spoken and written), capable of using it as a working language; knowledge of basic Thai is a significant plus.
3.Mobility Requirement: Able to accept long-term assignments in Bangkok, Thailand, and adapt to a work model involving frequent travel between Shanghai and Bangkok.
Experience & Skills:
1.Preferred Consideration: Experience in sales or business development within the new energy vehicle industry (e.g., OEMs, batteries, charging infrastructure, intelligent connected vehicles).
2.Broadly Considered: Experience in traditional automotive sales, automotive components, or large B2B industrial product sales and key account management.
3.Business Skills: Strong capabilities in market analysis, client development, business negotiation, and contract management, with a proven track record of independently developing new markets or new clients.
4.Personal Traits: Outgoing, high emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and cross-cultural competence, able to quickly build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
5.Core Qualities: Self-motivated, results-oriented, excellent problem-solving and stress management abilities, fast learner, able to quickly adapt to new environments and new business areas.
