Marketing & Admissions Coordinator
Metropolitan State University of Denver2020.02-Current(6 years) In this position I am responsible for the recruitment, admissions, marketing and student advising for the Master of Health Administration degree. In addition to these roles, I also serve critical roles in regards to building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with our faculty, students, alumni and industry partners. In my role as recruitment and admissions manager, I utilize the Slate Recruitment CRM System to maintain communications with prospective students as well as manage each application from submission through acceptance. Once accepted, all new students have a comprehensive initial advising meeting with me to create their academic progression, discuss their admission requirements and assist with any concerns they have regarding registration, financial aid, university supports and beyond. Once enrolled, I continue to advise students as needed. Below is a more detailed description of the systems I use for advising and retention. Throughout the year I coordinate and implement a number of recruitment and student-centered events, both in person and online. In my role as recruitment manager, I maintain the social media presence and marketing for both the MSU Denver’s Master of Health Administration degree and our Department of Health Professions. In this capacity, I have also created both digital & physical marketing campaigns for the MHA program.
