Work towards the academic progression and retention of current students throughout San Diego County. Assists new students through a Graduation team environment to become knowledgeable on processes and prepared for academic expectations of higher learning. Some areas of student development coached to throughout academic programs include APA writing skills, PowerPoint, Excel, website navigation, Career Services, job market assessment, scholarship information, and counseling opportunities. Works on the San Diego Volunteerism team to organize drives and events with local non-profit organizations; the goal is to encourage employee activism and community involvement.
