I have adapted quickly to life in China and to a US style system of grading and assessment. I am responsible for planning and delivery of a G11 EAP literature and a G12 Spanish curriculum.

I taught KS3 and KS4. I delivered lessons in Spanish and French in the UK national curriculum. I was also responsible for a form group. During this time, I developed my practice post-teaching qualification.

Alongside the PGCE, I worked in two UK secondary schools and had CPD in many more. During my training I improved my knowledge of SEN and EAL students, as well as the pastoral role I would go on to hold in my post-qualification teaching position.

I prepared students for the Cambridge PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE as well as the local government Escola Oficial d’Idiomes, and the university Selectivitat.

I worked as coordinator, overseeing and planning the methodology and activities for two-hundred children at a heavily subscribed English and sports summer camp.

This job required organising and updating the centre’s database, as well as archiving confidential patient records.
