  from October 2017 to June 2020, I contributed to the successful execution of a large-scale Affordable Housing Development and Infrastructure project for Barwa Real Estate Group in Doha, Qatar. The 99.5-hectare project included housing for low-income groups, retail spaces, mosques, a health center, and other community facilities. Overseeing components such as accommodation buildings, retail areas, and government service structures. The project was valued at QR 1,295,000,000.00. My Responsibilities included: • Provide cost engineering expertise and lead activities as group/unit leader when required. • Prepare, review, monitor, analyze, and report on capital expenditures and spending for all associated projects. • Review and analyze claims and change orders, assisting in the preparation of the cost portion of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. • Assist in the preparation of cost components for engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. • Review multi-discipline conceptual, detailed, and definitive cost estimates for Saudi Aramco capital projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the project scope of work. • Review and verify Material Take-offs (MTOs) against engineering documents and packages for estimates prepared by engineering contractors. • Assist the project management team in negotiating project contracts as required. • Initiate actions when total forecasted costs indicate that allocated funds will be exceeded. • Interface with multiple operating facilities to review and discuss project scope and estimate basis, including conducting site visits to construction areas. • Demonstrate expertise in using cost and estimating tools, applying market conditions and risk management to develop accurate estimates. • Advise on company cost engineering methods and procedures, providing developmental assignments for junior cost engineers.
