I had joined the group since its establishment for CAT dealership, as sales engineer, had been trained for courses of products line, applications, performance, the essential knowledge of parts and the mechanism of each functional component of machine , standard /optional attachments, the engine by category and its accessories, generator set for prime/ standby, the courses was conducted by the staff of Caterpillar Far East Ltd.( CFEL ). With my outstanding jobs assigned performance, then to be promoted as head of the construction machinery for the private sales division, my first initiative task was to create of the new business opportunity for the utilizing of machine, especially for those agri-exporters, local agricultural industrial firms : Rice, Maize, Tapioca Pellet, Flour Mills, etc. by studying to modify the preventive filter system and enlargement of the bucket capacity for massive loading, that had satisfied to the outcome performance for agricultural purpose. Also to set up of the new sales packages ( pricing, longer terms installment, interest rate, warranty periods,.) to ease the financial deadlock of all clients by setting up the self financing program for all machine sales, as there was no leasing firm for construction machinery, the outcome had shown the significant increased in sales units. My another task was to provide the training courses on products to the new sales team, control the business must call plan and sales expenditure, review the prospective clients and to approach for business deal, prepared contracts, review the products inventory , developed the buyers guild and products line brochure. As always, must to participate on the CATERPILLAR regional seminar on products reviews for marketing, machine launching & demonstration.
