Rebranded Semester in Spain’s website, developed a brand style guide, started and campaigned for the inaugural Semester in Spain scholarship, created a summer service opportunity and a high school summer program, and continued Coordinator of Recruitment and Marketing duties.

Tutored and taught children ages 5-17 Spanish language and culture as well as tutored college students from various universities. Created a curriculum tailored to each students needs.

Represented Semester in Spain (SIS), a program of Trinity Christian College, to the students, faculty, and administrators of U.S. partner institutions through strategic campus visits, online communication, and intentional network-building. Designed and guided marketing efforts to introduce the program to a wide audience and maintained relationships with program alumni, including creating a style guide for a rebrand of the program and supervising the design of the new website launched in August 2023. Served as a welcoming and professional point of contact for 30+ colleges and universities. Supported the mission of SIS to provide intercultural engagement with immersive scholarship in an inclusive Christian community. Traveled around the United States and Spain to promote and grow the Seville (Sevilla) based program.

Built up the Hispanic Initiates within the Donor Ministries department by leading the Bilingual Representatives team, translating and creating resources for representatives and donors in Spanish, promoting the Hispanic Initiative at conferences around the United States, and managing higher-level concerns with English and Spanish-speaking donors. Additionally, fostered an interdepartmental team environment at the Southwest Ministry Center in Coppell, Texas.

Managed phone and email relations with English and Spanish-speaking donors as well as translated the organization’s email templates into Spanish.

Represented and communicated a student’s perspective for the Alumni and Parent Relations Office at Taylor University. Interacted and built strong relationships with the alumni and parents of Taylor University. Tasks include organizing, planning, and speaking at major events such as Homecoming and Family Weekend as well as Commencement.

Managed the foreign language study tables offered to students through the Academic Enrichment Center as well as tutored individuals and groups of all Spanish levels.

Cared for children ages 0-13. Worked as a full-time nanny in the summers 2017, 2018, and 2020,

Graded assignments and exams for Spanish classes.

Provided in-home care for an elderly Spanish-speaking woman.

Interpreted for Spanish and English speakers during interactions for a business contract with Timberline Team Consulting and translated business documents for this contract from English to Spanish.

Served Magic Kingdom guests by providing food and beverages, a clean atmosphere, and magical interactions. Interpreted and translated for Spanish-speaking guests. This was a seasonal position.

Assisted international students with their English learning through editing papers andreviewing grammar and vocabulary.

Served as a core member of the directed research team, led by Dr. Abraham Chin Chang, for Taylor University’s Spanish Department. Presented research on second-language acquisition at the 33rd Annual Interdisciplinary Conference in the Humanities at the University of West Georgia.

Taught several Spanish 102 classes at Taylor University while the professor was in Japan. The position included creating and administering quizzes and presentations that covered class material.

Waited on tables and served meals at an independent living home as well as interacted and built relationships with the residents.
