Preparing claims and variations including Identifying and assessing the potential for claims and variations. • Preparing and negotiating new rates and variation estimates with the engineer. • Preparing the necessary documentation, such as claim notices and variation orders. • Coordinating with consultants and internal parties to obtain the necessary information and approvals. • Measuring and valuing the monthly work done, as well as issuing interim payment certificates for the subcontractors. • Verifying and evaluating subcontractor variations. • Performing quantity take-off and updating based on the latest shop drawings. • Involved in verifying the invoices from rental equipment suppliers and facilitating the release of payments. • Collecting subcontractor quotations, evaluating costs, maintaining a database, and negotiating for the best price. • Preparing and keeping records of all sub-contractor agreements and payments • Verifying and recording the measurements of work done. • Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) in accordance with the drawing specifications. Checking and processing payment applications from subcontractors and suppliers Keeping a register of payments. • Carrying out interim valuations and preparing payment certificates. • Evaluating quotations received from various suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that quantities and specifications align with project requirements. • Managing bonds and guarantee logs. Preparing contract documents.
