Designed personalized English language programs for 80+ students aged 3 to 13 in Shanghai, China. Created dynamic and engaging lessons that combined digital media and traditional classroom techniques to create a fun learning environment for all students. Organized special events to further expose students to the English language through creative hands-on activities.

I coordinated all counseling activities for a multi-site U.S Embassy sponsored leadership camp for elementary, high school, and college students in the cities of Tokyo, Izu, Kiyosato, and Rikuzentakata. I trained 14 Senior Counselors regarding overall program objectives and managed all the schedules and logistics. I also acted as the liaison between the Executive leadership team, counselors and camp participants; resolved a variety of issues to ensure continued success. I delegated tasks to Senior Counselors while simultaneously overseeing the daily activities of over 600 campers.

At this MICHELIN guide restaurant, I assisted with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc. I ensured that the bar was well-stocked with ice, liquor, and beer. I kept the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles. I learned about menu items and memorized cocktail recipes. I was additionally responsible for taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments, especially during peak hours.

Provided exceptional customer service by assisting visitors in parking and by directing visitors around the campus. Worked various events including NFL games, USC football games, concerts, and multiple award shows.

I was selected as one of 14 student researchers to travel to China and conduct various research projects surrounding nationalism, globalization, and localization. I conducted primary research surrounding domestic and foreign liquor in various tiered cities in China including Beijing, Shangqiu, Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, and Shanghai.

Lead the activities of a 30+ member choir which includes planning community service events and church-related engagements. Created organization calendar and worked with executive board members to facilitate goals. Coordinated the Fall and Spring semester gospel concerts for 200+ members of the USC and LA community. Responsible for all event logistics including fundraising and marketing events.

Black Excellence and More (BEAM) Podcast is a podcast that seeks to not only discuss issues that are rarely discussed by mainstream media from a black perspective but to also highlight the black excellence in our communities. I recruited various guest speakers including multiplatinum-selling producers, USC professors, and NCAA National Champions. I also acted as the sound engineer and DJ for the radio show and podcast

I was a founding member of an event planning organization. I coordinated multiple events for 300+ collegiate students in the Los Angeles area. I served as the sound engineer, lighting specialist, and musical artist for each event. I fundraised hundreds of dollars for multiple charitable causes including the Flint, Michigan water crisis. I developed a marketing strategy for an organization that saw a 200 % profit increase in one year.

I was selected as one of the 15 counselors to travel to Japan and help create, implement, and facilitate a leadership camp for elementary, high school and college Japanese students. I helped supervise and lead the 10 camps that are put on by SCOA (70+ campers and 15 counselors each camp). I also guided the instruction of Japanese campers in English and different sports including football, track, and basketball. Lastly, I led a benefit camp for the victims of the 2011 Tsunami and Earthquake in Rikuzentakata, Japan

I conceptualized, developed, and executed photography series which culminated in a month-long exhibition. I also scouted shoot locations, coordinated participant activities, and negotiated with gallery owners. Project Purpose: Experiences of dark-skinned black women as it relates to beauty and their skin are very different from most other demographics. Dark skin is often times devalued in the media, discriminated against, and categorized as ugly. This Ebony Shoot series seeks to not only continue the discussion on colourism but also highlight the beauty of dark skin women at The University of Southern California.

Coordinates, develops, and co-facilitates experiential workshops for GKs global education academic enrichment programs and after-school leadership groups. Collaborates with staff and students to implement field trips, special events and action projects with Washington-area community groups and NGOs.Conducts outreach services related to conferences, program participation, parent community-building, travel planning, and social media.

Shaw Community Centers goal is that each child or teen who participates in our programs will grow up and become a citizen of the world. A citizen of the world is well-educated and constantly seeks to learn more about themselves and the world. A citizen of the world has been exposed to many learning opportunities and develops into a confident, poised person who can meet lifes challenges and overcome racial, socio-economic and gender barriers. I helped facilitate and create lesson plans for the children during the summer program. Supervised the summer camp participants for various enrichment activities and created lesson plans, teaching courses such as Mandarin and college preparedness, while also using my experience as a D1 athlete (USC) to teach sports as well.

Helped set up and run different events at the Bovard auditorium, and at other various locations around USC. I learned about various audio and lighting setups, while also learning about basic stage managerial duties.
