For the 2013-2014 school year, 44 new international students were selected to have a FiRST leader as undergraduate students. The students were then divided among the three selected leaders. Each month, the leaders schedule one-on-one meetings with each of their student to talk about their experiences at Fontbonne, in St. Louis, and the overall adaptation to the American culture. The meetings are then submitted through an online report and sent to the advisor. If any serious situations occur, the advisor assists the leaders with the students.Aside from meetings, FiRST leaders plan and invite their students to participate in school events to help them interact with other students, faculty, and staff.
