Conducted research and policy analysis project on private higher education in Latin American countries using existing databases which resulted in two academic publications and two conference presentations.

Designed and conducted, as Principal Investigator, a research project that involved developing interview protocols, conducting interviews, organizing focus groups, and carrying out archival research on educational policy and implementation which resulted in three major grants to support fieldwork and travel in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.Autonomously conducted a qualitative research project which resulted in two academic publications, four conference participations, and two public lectures.Conducted consultancy projects on educational policies in developing countries for UNESCO and the American Enterprise Institute funded by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which resulted in two academic publications, one report published by UNESCO and one chapter to be published by a major academic press, respectively.Taught graduate and undergraduate courses in higher education policy, educational planning, and educational organization.

Conducted supervised doctoral research in Argentina by securing competitive funding from international organizations, resulting in receiving several awards in recognition of my leadership, accomplishments, commitment, and promise in the field of educational and public policy.Supported efforts to collect, compile, validate, interpret, and analyze data and trends which resulted in the launching of three databases-global, Argentina, and Brazil- that are the most reliable source of data available to policy analysts and researchers in the field higher education.

Planned and monitored two international cooperation projects among top Latin American universities which raised international collaboration in research.
