I lead the college counseling, enrollment services, registrar, and testing for ACA, a K-12 public charter school within Atlanta Public Schools.

-Support students and families through the full cycle of applying to college: making a college list, choosing a major, writing essays, filling out applications-Manage college counseling curriculum and student application cycles through Collegewises Wisernet platform

I led a team of 13 full-time college counselors and represented counseling issues as part of the Collegewise leadership team.

Developed and directed curriculum, programming, and counseling relationships for college planning in the Holy Spirit Prep Community–Managed a caseload of 50 students per graduating class to develop a college list, career interest profile, testing timeline, recommendation letter and all other aspects of the college search. Serve as academic advisor for juniors and seniors–Created a college counseling curriculum including a senior application boot camp, monthly junior lunch seminars, interview preparation, and parent programs for each grade–Curated knowledge of American higher education & current trends in college admissions and disseminated information to the HSP community through a College Handbook and bi-weekly newsletters with original content via Mailchimp–Visited 30+ university destinations to build personal knowledge and relationships with university admission offices–Established relationships between Holy Spirit Prep and two city-wide groups of college counselors to collaborate on programming for two yearly events—Atlanta Invitational Case Studies and the Atlanta Catholic College Fair–Moved HSP to SCOIR as their cloud-based college planning and document management provider

Initialview conducts recorded interviews with prospective college students to add transparency and clarity to admission processes. In this role, I interviewed students from around the world, consulted with universities to add efficiency and nuance to their international admission processes, and trained new interviewers in the InitialView interview philosophy of leading curious and unscripted interviews.
