We are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager (m/f) for our company, job location is in Dongguan, South China. The applicant is head of quality management and quality assurance for trading goods, purchased components, raw materials, semi-finished goods across locations. He has the operational/technical (not disciplinary) responsibility for all production operations as well as the quality assurance of trading transactions within the EGLO Lighting Group. It is the job holder’s responsibility to lead the complete quality process regarding tools/forms, products, installations, raw material (metal, glass, plastics) and trading goods. Beyond that the job holder’s area activity includes also internal and external professional presentation (i.e. exhibitions, conferences, associations) in English and/or German.Main responsibilities:Introduce, maintain and improve the Supplier Management System, assure measures and activities to ensure the requested quality of supplied raw materials, components, parts, articles and services Contribution to reach the business and quality targets and to optimize the efficiency of the purchasing quality and logistic processFunctional responsible for the SQM in the dedicated locationsEstablish and maintain the appropriate SQM resources and ensure consistency in competence, motivation and efficiency of the teamExecute Component/Article Qualification and Component/Article Approval for mechanical/material/electr(on)ical components and surface coatings (APQP, R&R, PPAP) in the design/development phase to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirementsImplementation and control of appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make/market phase for all supplier goods and services to continue the observation of the quality performance of the supplierAssure the right tools usage and process implementation in all the plantsEffectively manage and develop the teamRegular supplier meetings and supplier auditsCoordination and documentation of corrective and preventive actionsContinuously promote quality awareness for all listed/released suppliersEstablish inspector trainingEstablish product specifications and Certificates of AnalysesWork for supplier, plant-related and global projects for quality improvement.

Qualification:The job holder owns a degree in electronics and/or has a long term international exposure in the QM/QA department. Furthermore, he/she has a minimum of 3 years experience in a leading position in QM in an international company in the electrical/electronical -lighting sector or in a comparable consumer goods industry. Professional knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. ISO900x and 14001 is a plus.Special features:The applicant must have several years of experience in a leading position in the quality management, quality assurance area with international orientation.Furthermore, the job holder must be team oriented, corporate thinking and acting, leading proficient. He/she has verifiable intercultural and strategic skills as well as a marked “Hands-On” mentality with a high affinity to the lighting product segment.Other attribute fields for the filling of the position are experience in medium sized businesses as “Global Player”, organizational skills, flexibility, persuasion and local knowledge.Due to the global orientation of the company, fluent English skills, willingness to travel and a high level of assertiveness and diplomatic negotiating skills are a basic requirement in all (hierarchy) levels.An accurate working style, international experience and economical understanding are essential.The outstanding communication- and integration strength completes the profile of the job holder.
