Tasks and role description:•Analyze current procedures and activities to identify and present opportunities for improvement of the workshop.•Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including jobs scheduling and manpower allocation for the day to day operation.•Assist with quoting, project management, material purchasing and quality checks.•Manage logistic and storage departments•Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns to the General Manager, reporting on manpower overruns or shortfalls.•Act as a technical advisor as needed.•Promote Health and Safety culture within the business.•Ensure that the department is adequately staffed to achieve objectives, and that technicians are aware of procedures for using new products and equipment.•Facilitate the orientation of new team members by familiarizing them with work surroundings, explaining work hours, procedures, use of equipment and job expectations and ensure that new team members understand their respective duties.•Maintain good relationships with customers and third parties.•Ensure adeguate maintenance of tools, equipment as well as availability of consumables and other materials required in the Workshop.•Facilitate the training and development of team members in the department, by providing feedback and coaching to support improvements in their job performance.•Provide advice and technical assistance to Workshop Personnel•Evaluate the impact of work delays, interruptions or changes in pians to develop appropriate course of actions.•Review all works to ensure that all actions have been documented according to Company poiicies and procedures.•Plan and prepare in co-ordination with the General Manager the annua) budget for the department and facilities, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.•Coordinate with GM and arrange for delivery of equipment to customers.

Strategic consultation, comprehensive of the development of production plans and strategies of fabrication.Coordinates and expedites fabrication plan and assemblies Coordination between sections or departments.Management of production and shipping My goal is to keep the contractual schedules and priorities. Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material. Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability. Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications. Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. Computes amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
