This was my first proper tase of sales management, and saw my targets now based on not just my own, but also my teams’ performance. I was in charge of tracking the work rate and efficiency of my team through checking call times and dials made via our phone systems, I was in charge of analysing individual performances by listening to calls and then reviewing them in 1:1 meetings. It was part of my role to hold daily morning meetings to inspire and drive sales in the team for that day.
