Job responsibilities
Native Speaking Homeroom Teacher for students aged 3 to 5 years old
Salary 22k-31k before tax (dependent on qualifications and experience)
1. SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY AND STRATEGIC PLANNING - Ensure that the school mission and objectives are implemented consistently in areas for which the teacher holds responsibility
2. CURRICULUM AND PEDAGOGY -
• Teach challenging, well organized and differentiated lessons
• Have well-grounded expectations of learners, designed to raise levels of attainment
• Plan for progression informed by secure curriculum and subject knowledge
• Be familiar with and able to use relevant Educational Technology in their teaching
• Implement a range of assessment techniques, including formative assessment
• Establish a purposeful and safe learning environment, which takes account of all Health and Safety
requirements and procedures
• Follow the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) in planning and teaching effective lessons
3. MONITOR, PROVIDE FEEDBACK AND COMMUNICATE STUDENT PROGRESS
4. PASTORAL CARE AND BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT
Job Requirements
Native Speaker only
Four years Bachelor of Education or subject degree with teaching diploma / certificate (PGCE/PGDE)
Qualified teacher status or recognized equivalent
