Job responsibilities
Join our team as a Sales Engineer and act as the key technical partner for our clients in Europe, helping them achieve their goals through the application of our glass processing machinery. Key Responsibilities: - Technical Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions for potential clients, showcasing how our solutions meet their specific technical and business requirements. - Solution Design & Quotation: Develop detailed, customised technical and commercial proposals by collaborating with internal engineering and sales teams to design optimal customer solutions. - Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical advisor to clients and the internal sales team, translating customer needs into technical specifications. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team on account strategy and with product management to relay market feedback and influence future product development. - Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, from technical users to C-level executives, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. - Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events across Europe.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, or Application Engineer role, preferably within the manufacturing machinery industry. - Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex engineering concepts related to our products. - Demonstrable experience in managing the technical sales cycle, including leading product demonstrations and managing proof-of-concepts. - Experience in responding to technical tenders and creating comprehensive proposals is highly desirable. - Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences. - Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while also being a strong team player. - Willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
