Job responsibilities
· Manage the reconciliation process for all ESS project-related accounts, ensuring accurate reporting of revenues, and project progress. Ensure alignment with customer purchase orders and project contracts.
· Oversee the timely and accurate preparation, verification, and processing of invoices for battery storage customers.
· Maintain precise records and proactively resolve any discrepancies in collaboration with the project management team.
· Collaborate with other departments to track invoice reporting, optimize accounts receivable (AR), and improve financial outcomes for battery storage projects.
· Assist in preparing for annual audits by reconciling ESS-related accounts, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
· Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting procedures specific to battery storage projects, driving efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions.
· Perform other accounting duties as required, ensuring operational flexibility and maintaining high-quality financial management within the ESS division.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification a plus).
· 3-5 years of experience as an accountant in the energy or project accounting sector, with specific experience in battery storage or renewable energy invoicing preferred.
· Expertise in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
· Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret and present financial data clearly to senior management.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external auditors.
