Job responsibilities
This Operation & Lean Manager role at Agilian (Sofeast Group) in Dongguan is a strategic leadership position central to driving operational excellence and digital transformation. The core mission is to architect and optimize the end-to-end value stream, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to volume delivery, within a complex "high-mix, low-volume" electronic assembly environment. Key responsibilities include championing a continuous improvement culture by implementing a Lean management system, utilizing Value Stream Mapping to eliminate waste, and coaching teams on tools like 5S and Kanban. A critical focus is on streamlining the NPI process to accelerate production ramp-up. The manager will also explore and drive the implementation of Automation and AI solutions for quality inspection and data analysis. The role entails integrated project tracking, developing performance dashboards for KPIs (OTD, OEE, FPY), and overseeing the Production and Material Control (PMC) process to optimize inventory. It requires proactive cross-functional leadership to break down silos between departments like R&D, Production, and Quality, and to lead root-cause problem-solving for complex issues. The manager is also accountable for strategic cost control through Value Engineering and analyzing manufacturing cost structures. Benefit: social insurance + accident insurance
Job Requirements
This senior role mandates a bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, Lean promotion, or senior project management, including at least 5 years leading cross-functional improvement teams. Profound, hands-on experience in the electronic assembly industry is essential, with expertise in processes like SMT, PCBA testing, and final assembly. Crucially, candidates must be proven experts in "high-mix, low-volume" production models, demonstrating success in designing flexible and responsive manufacturing systems. Deep professional knowledge is required in Lean Manufacturing (with a Six Sigma Black Belt being a significant advantage), Production and Material Control (PMC), the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management within an ERP system. A strong technical acumen and genuine interest in applying Industrial Automation, IoT, and AI solutions in a manufacturing context are also mandatory.
