Position: Japanese/Chinese Translator Location: Singapore/Hong Kong Responsibilities: Responsible for translating company business documents, technical materials, contracts, agreements, and marketing materials between Japanese and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), ensuring accurate, professional, and fluent translations. Provide interpretation services between Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) for business meetings, high-level discussions, client receptions, and other settings, ensuring efficient and appropriate communication. Review, polish, and optimize existing translations to ensure a consistent language style and adherence to local conventions. Organize and maintain a professional terminology database based on business needs, and participate in language support and localization work. Assist with translation and cross-cultural communication related to Japanese/Chinese in daily communications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher, background in Japanese, translation, or a related field, Japanese N1 level or equivalent, and native or fluent Chinese. Excellent written and spoken Japanese and Chinese communication skills, adaptable to diverse translation tasks across business and technical contexts. At least one year of relevant Japanese translation experience, with experience working in Singapore or Hong Kong, or familiarity with the local language and culture preferred. Proficient in Office productivity software and mainstream translation tools (such as Trados and MemoQ). Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, teamwork awareness, and a strong ability to work under pressure, with the ability to adapt to an international work environment.
