Job responsibilities
1. Lead business development in target markets across North Africa and the Middle East, including formulating market entry strategies, acquiring new clients, establishing distribution networks, and achieving sales targets. 2. Manage the end-to-end trade process: from customer inquiries, contract negotiation, and order follow-up, to coordinating production, logistics, documentation (e.g., L/C), and after-sales support. 3. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of regional market trends, competitive landscape, consumer preferences, and trade policies to inform product and pricing strategies. 4. Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key distributors, agents, and major retail clients in the region. 5. Represent the company at international trade shows, conduct business negotiations, and perform client visits to effectively promote the company brand and products. 6. Handle compliance matters related to cross-border trade and assist in resolving operational issues such as logistics and payment.
Job Requirements
1. Age & Education: Under 35 years old, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or a Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2. Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both English and Arabic (verbal and written) is mandatory. 3. Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade or business development targeting the North Africa and/or Middle East markets. Experience in the small household appliance, consumer electronics, or hardware products industry is preferred. 4. Knowledge & Skills: o Familiar with the business culture, trade practices, and basic legal regulations in the North Africa/Middle East region. o Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and independent problem-solving skills. o Strong market analysis capability and data sensitivity. o Willing and able to undertake frequent international travel (estimated up to 40% of the time). 5. Personal Attributes: Results-driven, self-motivated, with exceptional cross-cultural communication skills and a team-player spirit.
