Localization Specialist – Russian (Source Language: English) Job Responsibilities •Responsible for full-game English-to-Russian localization, including UI texts, system descriptions, gameplay copy, storyline and in-game dialogues. •Adapt translation style to fit the game’s aesthetic, ensuring consistent tone, atmosphere and world-building alignment with projects’ core setting. •Conduct linguistic review and proofreading for all localized content, guaranteeing accurate context, correct wording, and natural in-game expression. •Perform LQA checks for official releases and version updates, fixing text errors, layout issues, and contextual inconsistencies. •Maintain and update project terminology databases to ensure unified terminology across all game modules and versions. •Collaborate efficiently with the headquarters team to follow project rhythms and meet localization deadlines.

Job Requirements •Native Russian speaker with fluent English reading and writing capabilities, able to translate and proofread English source materials independently. •Prior game localization experience is required; candidates with ARPG, fantasy or story-driven game experience are highly preferred. •Familiar with steampunk and Western fantasy styles, capable of delivering immersive, literary and polished in-game texts. •Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong quality control awareness and strict consistency in terminology and style. •Able to work full-time on-site in Shanghai and adapt to flexible project schedules.
