Our client Zoundream is a growing technology startup developing advanced AI and sound-recognition technology for infant voice analysis. With a strong background in machine learning and embedded systems, the team has developed mature core technology and an award-winning product and is now working on its next iteration while expanding its user base.We are looking for a bright and motivated Technical Support & Integration Engineer to be our technical boots-on-the-ground in China and act as the bridge between our European headquarters and Chinese manufacturing partners.This is a high-impact, autonomous role combining embedded engineering, technical consultancy, integration support, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.Key Responsibilities• Work directly with partner development, firmware, and engineering teams at their offices and factories to support the initial integration of Zoundream’s Cry Translation technology into new devices• Troubleshoot integration blockers such as authentication issues, buffering problems, and audio transmission errors• Perform on-site testing and initial QA of new devices and prototypes• Translate complex technical requirements and feedback between Mandarin and English, helping bridge communication between local partners and the Barcelona engineering team• Support technical kickoff meetings and demonstrations for partner engineering teams and manufacturers• Proactively identify technical issues before they become integration blockers• Work side-by-side with firmware teams to debug issues such as circular buffers and hardware/device integration problems• Coordinate with the Barcelona engineering team during European time-zone overlap to report progress, escalate complex bugs, and align priorities• Manage local technical documentation• Provide real-time technical support through WeChat and other preferred local communication channelsHow Success Will Be MeasuredSuccess in this position will be measured by how effectively you optimize the device integration process and by the satisfaction of Zoundream’s business partners.

Required Qualifications• Mid-level professional with experience in Embedded Software Development or Technical QA• Strong C/C++ proficiency — essential• Solid understanding of firmware, hardware-level buffering, and API integrations• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities• Native-level Mandarin and professional proficiency in English• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply• High empathy and a strong people-oriented approach• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously without daily supervision• Comfortable managing your own schedule while working remotely• Willing and able to travel frequently to local factory and partner sitesHighly Valued / Nice to Have• Background in audio processing, firmware, and hardware integration• Previous experience living, travelling, or working with Western cultures such as Europe, USA, or Australia, helping bridge cultural and communication differences• Valid driver’s licence and/or access to a vehicle is recommended
