Job responsibilities
●collaborate with analysts and editorial team to develop and manage publication workflow
●edit, publish, and sometimes fact-check short and medium-form writing
●maintain and develop China Policy’s publication formats, style and production processes
●manage projects and small teams of people
Job Requirements
●demonstrated strong English language editing skills
●enthusiasm for online design, editing and publishing
●experience with online content management systems
●high-level Chinese language comprehension
●obsessive eye for detail and clear communication
●good intercultural communication skills
●ability to produce work on a set schedule
●flexibility and ability to take initiative
●China studies or work experience background an advantage
●interest in/knowledge of translation technology, machine translation, language management tools etc., an advantage
●Interest in developing social media and new multimedia projects to increase the
visibility/presence of China Policy an advantage
