- Gather information about lifestyle happenings in Beijing - Generate story ideas and (when approved) write about these in blogs and print magazine - Represent the Beijinger and TRM externally at community and client events

We are now looking for a full-time Editor to join our team that has a good sense of what makes an interesting angle to a story. You will plan, coordinate, review and edit content. The successful candidate will be able to decide which ideas should be pursued and which should get dropped in order to meet quality and accuracy standards. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative, and engaging content. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (major in English, journalism, communications or relevant field) - Proven working experience as an editor - Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills - Excellent written skills in English - An eye for detail and critical thinking - Ability to prioritize and multitask, all the while keeping to strict deadlines - Highly sociable Bonus points if you have the following: - Chinese language skills - Hands-on experience with InDesign, Photoshop or other publishing tools - Proven familiarity with SEO and social media best practices - Has lived in Beijing for at least a year
