Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead engagement and partnership efforts with global and regional chain hotel groups. The ideal candidate is a true "Hunter" with a proven track record of selling complex solutions to the hotel industry. A deep understanding of hotel operations, particularly systematic knowledge of PMS/CRS systems and channel API integrations, is critical for success in this role. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—and building long-term strategic relationships that drive significant revenue. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Expansion & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and build a robust pipeline of potential partners among global hotel groups, management companies, and branded hotels. 2. Solution Selling: Articulate our service's unique value proposition clearly and develop compelling partnership proposals tailored to the specific needs and pain points of hotel groups. 3. PMS & Technical Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of major PMS (e.g., Oracle Opera, Cloudbeds, Protel, Maestro) and related systems (Central Reservation Systems, CRM, Channel Management) to confidently and professionally discuss system integration capabilities, technical requirements, and operational workflows with clients. 4. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., VP of Operations, IT Director, C-level executives) at the corporate level of hotel groups. Negotiation & Closing: Lead complex commercial negotiations to finalize and execute contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and sustainable for the company. 5. Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor trends in hotel technology and the hotel group landscape, track competitor activities, and provide valuable feedback to inform company product strategy.
Job Requirements
Essential Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or higher. 2. Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales/business development experience targeting large hotel groups or hotel management companies, with a proven record of successful deal closure. 3. Familiarity with the working principles, interface logic, and core operational workflows of at least one major PMS system. 4. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English (required for liaising with overseas hotel groups). 5. Proven "Hunter" mentality with the ability to independently explore new markets and acquire new clients. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience successfully driving the adoption of SaaS products or technology platforms within hotel groups. 2. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability.
