Meets the deadlines and sample deliveries on time. • Work for Centric PLM system (Product Lifecycle Management) and generate all technical documents. • Involve for garment costing with factory Industrial Engineering (IE) teams for garment best SMV’s through GSD. Also, train the teams for Coats Seamworks for threads consumption. • Follow up fit sessions and responsible for approval of Fit and Pre Production Samples. Fit review on the mannequin/Live model and analyze fit wear ability draping and technical aspects. • Follow up with factory garment technologist’s for pilot evaluation and PP meetings for new products. • Resolve day to day technical issues in the factories. • Helping to increase factory efficiency and reduce garments quality rejection. • Conduct staff training, manage and improve the factory technical team. Here I am handling the Product Development and Technical part of the following customers for their Underwear and Active wear products. Cut and sew and Bonded products: Victoria’s Secret, PVH-Calvin Klein and Nike underwear, Tommy John, Mack Weldon, Hanky Panky, KHY and Delta own brands and its licensed brands such as Adidas, 7 For All Mankind, Organic Basics,Schiesser, Ted Baker, Eminence, Lacoste, Splendid, CK Kids and Walmart. (9 years 1 month) • Looking after Egypt and Jordan production from product development till merchandise is shipped. • Lead the team to meet Hanes Brands Inc. quality standards and the requirements such as DPM level. • Responsible for the entire quality audits development, TOP samples and closely worked with the vendor’s technical and sample department to minimize the production difficulties. • Given detailed evaluation for pre-production samples and acknowledge any problems and provide appropriate solution and closely coordinate with the vendors to minimize the risk and assure the quality of the product. • Conducted style risk assessment pre-production meeting with all the production staff for an every style. • Evaluates size set samples prior to cutting bulk production. • Conducting audits during process from fabric to packed products. • Conducting technical evaluation for new manufacturing facilities after proceeding of social compliance audits. • Keep an eye on the delivery and maintain the work in progress reports to check the vendor’s capacity, efficiency, updating Merchandiser regarding the order status. • Mentor supplier’s quality team/ Nominated QC are towards the supplier self- reliant. • Grow supplier’s - Conduct supplier quality educations/ Training programs. • Responsible for the entire Quality and Technical activities of the group production factories and subcontract production that involves. • Implement SOP’s in all stages of production by explaining and providing guidelines to all concerned teams. Maintain the required documentation in every stage as required. Also did the audits for the implemented SOP’s on fixed intervals to ensure that all systems are in place as per the customer requirements. • Preproduction activities like samples evaluation, fabric inspection, GSM tests, shade band/shrinkage grouping, fabric testing and garment testing (internallab), trims and accessories inspections. • Production activities like handling of QA team for pilot, size set evaluation, advice for pattern corrections for production/quality feasibilities. Conducting Pre production meeting. • Giving Quality technical assistance for the sample & production departments (Sample developments, sewing, Embroidery/Printing & Washing) • Conduct trainings/ workshops for QC’s, QA’s and internal production teams. • Follow up with factory production planning / actual & make sure to achieve the buyer’s delivery and if required give some suggestions – “How to overcome any tight situation in advance”. • Coordinating with customer QA’s and to make sure zero customer returns/ complaints on the shipped goods, but on the other side by minimizing the rejection levels in the factory by providing style wise technical advice starting from sample stage. There I was overlooking a team of Garment Technologist’s and Quality Controllers and handing production of the following customers, Gap, Banana republic, Old Navy, Jones New York, Mother’s Work, JC Penney, Wal-Mart and Kmart from sample development, production up to the merchandise shipped.
