A very broad and diverse involvement within Iceotope gave me a unique perspective of the technology and how a multi-million pound startup functions. My primary role was with the R&D team ensuring quality control, testing and building hardware, attending exhibitions, responsible for the safe implementation and running of evaluation kits on site and exhibitions. Having been described as 'a sponge for information', I worked closely with the CVO, Peter Hopton, to expand my ever growing knowledge of data centre cooling solutions. I also contributed to the marketing teams efforts, installing evaluation units (small self sufficient liquid cooled systems) at exhibitions, and converse with potential customers and partners about the range of benefits Iceotope technology can bring to HPC/Cloud/Enterprise and current trends that may affect the market in years to come.Student Ambassador
