Worked as the Heard of HR in a 3PL company with 4 locations in the US, leading a team with 6 members in the HR and Admin Department. - Create all HR and Admin-related company policies from scratch. Manage all HR policies and related HR operations. - Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resources and talent strategy. - Manages the whole talent acquisition process; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. - Compensation: Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. - Benefits: Manages existing broker and administers all company benefits: health, vision, dental, 401(k). Designs additional employee recognition and rewards in alignment with organizational goals and culture. - Time Off: Administers and reviews/enhance all time off policies in accordance with the culture and best practices to attract and retain the best talent. - Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. - Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. - Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
