FPSO, FSO Topside, Hull and Offshore Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning, Start-Up Engineer..  Review and approval of quality control plan (QCP) /quality control form (QCF) Procedures.  Attend Final inspection, mechanical completion walk-through, safety walk-down and issue punch lists as per procedure.  Managing all pre-commissioning activities for electrical equipment’s in the project including review and approval of all pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and forms.  Witnessing all pre-commissioning activities in the substation and field as per Quality Control Form, Standards, and vendor procedure  Suggesting improvements in design review/Approval of engineering documents and drawings, ECC and CCC packages, as-built documents etc. Review and follow-up on Punch Lists, NCRs & Observation Notes  Witness Testing & Commissioning of Emergency Diesel Generator and MV and LV Power Transformers.  Witnessing of 33KV, 11KV, 6.6KV, 400V Switchgear Substation Commissioning  Witnessing REF, Line differential Stability and sensitivity Test of Transformer, Emergency Generator & Cables, Signals, Interlock & Inter trip Schemes  Close co-ordination with instrumentation and automation department for control and monitoring of electrical systems from DCS as per interface points.  Review and approval of energization packages, effective implementation of Lock out and tagout (LOTO) procedures and permit to work system.  Manage Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) walkthrough and punch list closures according to scope and project specifications.  Implementation of industrial and project safety procedures for safe and smooth start up  Co-ordination with different disciplines for safe smooth start up  Effectively monitoring and recording the performance of complete electrical system during start up and operation  Effectively undertaking trouble shooting and restoration in case of any snag during startup  Managing the commissioning of other systems like grounding, lighting, cathodic protection system, MOV’S and, Heat tracing system  Witnessing of MicomP543,REF615, REM615,RET620, RED615, REB611 Relay Tests.  Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment’s to prepare the equipment to the first start up  Verification of the compliance of test results with the design and reliability requirements  Review test reports, certificates, progress reports and site correspondence
