Senior Project Engineer at Hitachi Energy, IEEE Senior Member. I have earned my MS in Electrical Engineering at Michigan Tech. With an Interest in Electric power developed early on during my engineering, I've grown to share an unbiased passion for all things power system operation, protection and controls. At Michigan Tech. I have earned Certification in FE Electrical and Computer: E.I.T and Certification in Advanced Electric Power. I have through Knowledge of relay engineering through the products of SEL and ABB relays, SEL software's, HMI, HIL, SCADA. I have hands-on experience of testing these relays. I have gained knowledge by understanding IEC standards: IEC 61850, IEC 62271-1, IEC 62271-100. IEC 62271-200, IEEE standards, NEC and IS standards for switchgear, relays and substation automation. I have over about 5 years of full-time experience as Electrical Engineer. Previously, I’ve had over 2 years of full-time experience working as a Research and Development Engineer at ABB India Limited in its Medium voltage products division wherein I was part of the team that developed, enhanced, maintained and supported air insulated switchgear and relays. I have also worked as Leading Testing and commissioning Engineer where I have tested the product portfolio in testing centers, onsite commissioning and customer support. At ABB I have earned an additional certification of Internal Auditor. I worked in Black and Veatch as Electrical Engineer 3 having responsibility of lead project engineer, project management, quality assessments, client meetings, project scheduling & budgeting, proposals, substation design, SCADA, Breaker replacement, turnkey projects for different clients.
