Building MIT’s Smart Learning Factory. Industry 4.0 | Smart Manufacturing | AI and ML for Factories I am currently a Ph.D. student at MIT Mechanical Engineering, working with Dr. Brian Anthony, on applications of data analytics for manufacturing. My goal is to be able to help manufacturing enterprises with their digital transformation journey, especially with the use of big data analytics, AI, and machine learning for decision-making. I am actively looking for global opportunities to collaborate on topics of digital transformation in manufacturing also known by various terms such as Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Smart Manufacturing, and Industry X.0. I am currently working on industry-sponsored-research and consultancy, to name a few: - Development of a Machine Learning-based control system for Advanced Process Control of optical fiber manufacturing. (India) - Exploratory use of digital twins and big data analytics for "virtual quality sensor" of automobile engine assembly facility, to flag engines with high potential to fail. (USA) - Development of low-cost educational devices for remote hands-on engineering education. (USA & Mexico) - Teaching and Development of manufacturing education content and curriculum for a leading technical university in Latin America. (Mexico) - Development of Smart Factory that use data driven methods to automate decision making on various levels, along with interactive frontline operations applications developed on a no-low code platform. (USA) - Applications of ML and digital twins on industrial coffee roasting and F&B packaging. (Italy & Sweden & Swiss) I have also previously worked: - Develop a predictive machine learning model for a logistics company to improve warehousing cost model. (USA) - Strategic consulting on IoT platform and digital business solutions (including IIoT software for manufacturing) for a Southeast-Asian digital telecommunications company. (Indonesia) - Deployment of the world's first fully automated line for dental clear aligners. Involves mass customization through full automation of resin additive manufacturing, post-processing, secondary processes, and inspection. (Singapore) I am currently mentoring undergraduates and potential MIT applicants. I am passionate in teaching as a way to share my knowledge with the wider community. I also run a non-profit that aims to provide renewable energy to underserved rural communities in Indonesia. Outside of work, I enjoy playing the saxophone and drums, going out for a game of golf, and collecting luxury watches. I am also a big foodie.
