At Mountain Pacific Venture Fund, our focus is on early-stage life sciences and biotech, where impact is built in to the business model and success is benchmarked against both the triple bottom line and the quadruple aim of healthcare. As a venture capitalist, serial entrepreneur, angel investor and former investment banker, I’ve sat on both sides of the table, so I understand the day-to-day challenges of running a business as well as the qualities of a good, investable company. As a practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I believe in the power of leverage and technique, as well as the necessity of making a decision and committing to it. There’s no point in doing anything halfway, whether it’s in business or in life.
