It's about understanding what drives success in an organization and how to unleash the full potential of its people. This is what I have experienced every single day in my 17-plus years in the HR function. I started my HR career at OTIS Elevators and the next 11 years gave me numerous opportunities to learn and take up additional responsibilities with each of the four promotions, before moving to Mitsubishi Elevators in 2017 as Assistant Manager – HR. I was fortunate to have directed and managed HR functions during domestic and international mergers and acquisitions. I joined Envision Wind Power Technologies in 2020 to manage the HR function for the India region. I excel in partnering with the business units, enabling the organization's growth, establishing structures, building employee value, driving employee engagement initiatives, and achieving strategic business goals. I could navigate complex transitions while prioritizing employee well-being and organizational success. Being in HR helps you stay close to the company culture and often get to influence the same. I believe in the power of culture in attracting and retaining the right talent. Great cultures provide a safe environment, challenges, and learning opportunities, prioritize individual development, and have friendly policies. Integrity and an attitude to learn have helped me stay on top of the curve in an ever-evolving HR function. Envision is one of the flagbearers of transitioning the world away from carbon. We aim to achieve carbon neutrality throughout the value chain by 2028 and we are always on the lookout for great talent in the energy space to realize our vision. The opportunities are immense with the transformative effects of Artificial Intelligence in the energy space and advanced engineering efforts in renewables. As I look ahead, I remain dedicated to driving organizational success through innovative HR strategies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, and ensuring employee engagement remains at the forefront of our initiatives.
