Summary
Chairman, Pathfinders Travel Group. I have lived through some interesting times. I have seen and been an integral part of the hotel industry in India go from a a Taj/Oberoi monopoly to become a Taj/Oberoi/ITC Hotels monopoly. At that point, I left the Indian hotel industry because it has become too stifling. To international horizons. Today in my current role, I get to appreciate the diversity of different international chains and independent hotels and how they position their products across geographies and categories. The challenge for any individual who has seen all this and who wants to be a part of the ecosystem is staying relevant. I would like to see Pathfinders become a 100 million USD enterprise to begin with by 2015. I am sure that with the support of associates, our great Team and partners, this will all come together seamlessly across continents.
