Medical Science Liaison at Glenmark Pharma. A highly motivated, self confident and flexible individual; one who relishes a challenge. I am an effective communicator, with good networking, IT, management and organisational skills; equally able to work alone or within a team. For the past decade I have successfully represented two major pharmaceutical companies (as a Senior Medical Executive) in the Home Counties and West London, working eight therapeutic areas: gastroenterology, mental health, psychiatry, women’s health, oncology/palliative care, dermatology, rheumatology and thrombosis. During this time I have won awards for sales proficiency/excellence. Prior to this, I have helped to build-up and manage successful and profitable family care and retail businesses. In my free time I studied for a doctorate, published several research papers and presented my work at medical and scientific meetings. I am currently working as a Medical Liaison Scientist which has been my ambition since joining the Pharmaceutical Industry, supporting both thrombosis and dermatology teams in the field. Achievements: • I sourced and set up the first KOL’s for two separate advisory Board meetings earlier this year to gain insight into their perspective of Cancer Associated Thrombosis and the changing role of oral anticoagulants. • Helped developing 3 additional modules for the LEO Thrombosis Audit Tool Kit. • Invited as guest speaker for regional Obstetrics and Gynaecology SpR/Reg training programme in North London • Supported the launch of our a new product for Actin Keratosis • I am a proficient problem solver who analyses communicates technical data effectively. • I always prioritise my work. • I am a highly efficient team players supporting all levels, from Director to GP representatives • I am results and goal driven, a good communicator, a team player and an achiever.
