Director of Experiential Education and Associate Professor, Dale E. and Sarah Ann Fowler School of Engineering at Chapman University. I am an Associate Professor and the Director of Experiential Education with extensive experience in various STEM fields including mechanical and electrical engineering, materials science, plasma processing, chemistry, and characterization. My experiences in the semiconductor, manufacturing, polymer, and dental industries have spanned new product introductions, research and development, and technical service. Currently, my research is at the crossroads of additive manufacturing processing, composite formulation, computer simulations, and analysis of materials performance. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, materials science, electrical circuits, computer programming, and project management, while mentoring students in hands-on manufacturing processes, including casting, welding, machining, 3D printing, part design, and mechanical testing, along with performance simulation.
