Summary
Starting my career as a sales engineer at a successful global powertrain plastics company, I was looking for a new challenge and new technology segment focus to continue my career. Having lived in Louisville, KY and Lake Geneva, WI previously, I was able to experience working in both the automotive and agricultural industries allowing me to bring in a unique perspective to both industries. Over my 13 years at Henkel, gaining experience and personal development within 4 different roles, the years pass by in a burr. Fortunately, through that time my financial forecasting, people management, and technical knowledge grew immensely. Gaining valuable people management experience by leading a team of 12 technical engineers, designers, and lab personnel shed light on one of my greatest strengths within industry as an Engineering Manager. While in my role as a Sr. Business Development Manager, leading the forecasting and growth of Henkel’s accounts at General Motors, Honda, Hyundai/Kia, and Toyota made me a pivotal role within technology portfolio. After Henkel, I started a new chapter in my career in a different NVH product. Working with Adler Pelzer Group, I specialized in NVH fiber and PUR foam technologies for interior and exterior applications working specifically with JOEM customers. After successfully managing the P&L, commercial responsibilities, and day to day technical engineering responsibilities on new NVH products for Subaru, Nissan, and Toyota, I decided to transition back into the world of automotive adhesives. Working with the automotive performance tapes division at Avery Dennison, I developed the marketing strategy, product portfolio, and managed commercial P&L for EV battery products for thermal runaway bonding, dielectric insulation, and thermal interface management within the modules and battery pack. In addition, I was an M&A team leader for sales and marketing activities, successfully acquiring JDC Coatings Inc. in 2021 and leading integration activities for sales and marketing. Most recently, I transitioned further into the LiIon battery thermal runaway market developing unique products within Alkegen. This includes the bespoke solutions for cell spacers, module / pack / busbar protection, as well as cell gas management.

Henkel2018.01-2018.09(9 months)I led a team of 3 program managers and business development managers responsible for new business acquisition and forecasting at General Motors, Honda, Hyundai/Kia, and Toyota reporting directly to the Vice President of NA Automotive Transportation Design organization. This position gave me the unique opportunity to combine commercial forecasting for Henkel, technical adhesive & acoustic engineering with the customers directly, as well as people management for my department; which I consider my greatest skill of all. Managed $21.4M / year of acoustical NVH products at General Motors, Honda and Hyundai/Kia Responsible for commercial management and technical communications on each customer program including RFQ package creation & quotation, product engineering & capacity analysis, and production launch management. Oversaw the P&L for the customer accounts, including EBIT improvements through customer price increases, manufacturing efficiency improvements, and CAPEX projects.
