Main Achievements • Achieved formulary inclusion and favourable local lipid treatment guidelines across Humber and North Yorkshire ICB within 6 months of NICE TAG 805. • Developed four Key speakers/KOL and held digital launch meetings across primary and secondary care • Target £12048 Q1 2023: 20 packs (£2884.20), Q2 2023: 28 packs (£4037.88), Q3: 48 packs (£6922.08) • Compliance Champion – ensured that the Regional and National Team was compliant within the code by providing advice and online training.

• Promotion to Senior Business Development Manager within a year. • Successful launch of the Hull Unit. Generating and driving individuals through the referral and assessment pathway thereby increasing occupancy and income. • Working in collaboration and building relationships with key customers (commissioners, social care, and mentalhealth teams) to identify potential development areas (11 identified), appropriate individuals and project managing referrals into units. • Developing a comprehensive National database of commissioners covering both local authorities and CCGs.

• Worked with a NENC AHSN Falls and Fracture Lead to drive the identification of osteoporosis patients across the North East and North Cumbria. The project has generated joint publications with the NENC AHSN in the Hexham Courant, GP online, a poster presentation at the first Falls Summit in Leeds and the first KKI presentation at the Commissioning Show 2016. NHS Rightcare has recognised this project as best practice. • Secured 100% secondary care formularies with Victoza within 8 months of launch. • Partnership project – Working with North of Tyne, mapped diabetes competencies across three PCOs. This project was written up as a poster and accepted by PCDS November 2010. Also referenced by Sue Roberts, Clinical Lead - Year of Care programme (pg 62 https://www.yearofcare.co.uk/sites/default/files/images/YOC_Report%20-%20correct.pdf) • Recognised as Top Finalist in Pf awards 2011. • Set up clinical research network in Leodis involved appointing a project manager and networking with Novo Nordisk clinical research team to provide GCP training to both GPs and pharmacists. • Organised several types of meetings including advisory boards discussing the introduction of new treatments for Type 2 diabetes; management training sessions for PCTs, GP practices and pharmacists and commissioning meetings.

• Member of the Physical Health Group (Humber Mental Health Teaching NHS Trust) establishing physical health core standards within the Trust (2007). Achieved an understanding of the standards required. This project helped increase the profile of the side effects of antipsychotic medications. • Development of a primary care side effects checklist with Hambleton and Richmondshire PCT (now NorthYorkshire and York PCT) and Humber Mental Health Teaching NHS Trust. A simplified checklist used by practice nurses to help monitor the side effects of antipsychotics in line with the Quality Outcomes Framework. • Member of the Humber Centre team developing the ‘Professional Practice in Secure Environments’ Course
