Senior Legal Counsel. I am a senior commercial lawyer with 15 years’ experience, in both private practice and in-house, gained in energy, major projects and manufacturing sector. I have advised and supported many local and international energy companies and petroleum operators (including Repsol, Talisman Energy, Gazprom EP International, PetroVietnam and PVEP, etc.) and have contributed to the success of many large scale energy projects at different phases from the project setup till the closing. Being a core member in the negotiation of highly complicated contracts with value of hundreds of million USD. After years of working with state-owned enterprises, joint ventures and multi-national companies, I understand the needs of different stakeholders. My objective is to delivering timely and practical legal solutions that can help guide and facilitate business strategies and leading the compliance and risk management program. As an in-house counsel, I see my role beyond a legal risk advisor, and be part of the business unit to achieve the company's targets sustainably and at minimum legal risk impact. With strong educational background in both common law and Vietnamese law, I can give advice in cross-border matters.
