  2 years 4 months I create digital and written content about the events and programs happening within the City of San José associated with the Libraries. Tasks include photography, collecting quotes, and testimonials. My job is tell the stories of impact that the San José Public Library Foundation is a part of making happen. There is a great amount of flexibility to my role, since my work is based on the events happening that month and the type of marketing tactics we believe would be best for our goals such as reaching new donors or informing current ones. (2 years 4 months) My internship is focused on video content creation, interviewing program participants, and collaboration on social media strategy. Main goals of the internship include: • attending programs supported by the Foundation, observing part of or all the program when appropriate. • gathering footage at the program. • interviewing program participants or program leaders and record their responses. • editing the footage to create short videos that will then be placed on various media platforms • demonstrating to donors the impact the foundation has on the city and its people
