The Web3 and Blockchain space is innovative and captivating, unfortunately it is still at its infancy and there are many misconceptions amongst the mainstream. Much like the Dotcom era, the evolution of this new category of technology as well as asset class, will shape the future of how we do things in an increasingly hyper digitalised world. I am a firm believer that every business is a technology business in the 21st century, and in order for any business to succeed, technology must be embedded into core business operations / processes, business strategy and innovation strategy. Web3 and blockchain is a fast-growing area in the broader Industry 4.0 spectrum. The ability to facilitate ownership in a decentralised and transparent way is now changing the Internet as we know it. But few understand the underlying meaning and potential of how the Web3 technology can change the status-quo. The commonalities and differences between Web2 and Web3 are often misunderstood, resulting in superfluous barriers to innovation and adoption. I work to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3, the critical piece of the puzzle for many organisations to move forward with their growth in intellectual property, revenue and overall company valuation.
