Over the years, I’ve developed a strong interest of working in or with startups and new initiatives. I am absolutely passionate about working in a dynamic and challenging environment, balancing and meeting demands from various clients. Together with my previous internship working on a new project with Mediacorp Youth Segment and relevant education in Business (Marketing) with NTU, I am equipped with the skills that are relevant to today’s challenges. Examples of which include Digital marketing where I learnt much more on search engine optimisation and social media marketing as well as Strategic Management where I learnt frameworks to help firms strategize better. Such experiences and education help to guide my perspective to various issues today. I’ve become more analytical, decisive and competent in handling campaigns and projects while managing excellent customer relationships. Beyond the rigor of academics and work, I am also actively involved in extracurricular and voluntary activities. From volunteering with the 501st Garrison Singapore to being the Social and Community Service Secretary of the Aljunied Grassroots Youth Executive Committee (AJYEC), I believe in contributing back to the society and investing for the young & old. Volunteering has not only make me become more compassionate, sympathetic but also allow me to learn to communicate better with people from different walks of life. I have organised and managed many social enterprise initiatives with various industry partners which hails from for-profit, non-profit, governmental or even tertiary organizations. During my term as the President of Entrepreneurship Council in ACJC, I have enabled less privileged kids to start their social entrepreneurship initiatives. Being able to incorporate entrepreneurship in my volunteering experience was one of the biggest success to me.
