Summary
Product Support Engineer at Intuitive. In my senior year of high school, I decided I wanted to be an electrical engineer. Why? Because I was good at math and physics, and that's what you do when you're good at math and physics. So without really thinking about it, I went through four years of undergrad, got my degree, and then got a job as an engineer in the Research and Development team of a big tech company. Unsurprisingly, my short-sighted plan did not factor in what I really wanted in a career. Although I love technology and learning about how things work, I realized I also wanted to help people. I did not want to simply build something that was 15% faster/cheaper/stronger than our competitors. So I moved into the world of technical support/field application engineering, and I started helping people. I helped people who have never used a computer before with sharing photos from their digital cameras. I helped people who were working on multi-million dollar engineering projects with very specialized/custom flash memory products to fit their needs. I helped people receive minimally invasive surgery and personally kept dozens of robotic surgery systems running in hospital ORs during the height of the pandemic. I am an engineer with a proven technical background and strong customer service and communication skills, looking to make a difference while growing as much as I can. Also, I'm still pretty good at math and physics.
