Assisted a small family-owned company change from a subcontract molding company doing overflow work for other companies into a stand alone supplier to the Automotive industry in its own right. This involved internal reorganisation, winning new customers, contract negotiation and revising and updating quality systems, Hire and fire. and anything else to do with NPI.

Responsible for the repair, maintenance and upgrades for 700 molds and the internal toolshop with 10 staff and various external suppliers. Created systems and proceedures resulting in a fourfold increase in output and savings of 1.7 million dollars in the first year and 2.5 million dollars in the second year.

Successfully handled the local marketing in preparation for a subsidiary of a Metal stampings company in Toronto Canada to locate to Monterrey Mexico as well as other start up and restructuring projects

Completed a number of assignments in Europe, USA and Canada. Assisted an under achieving mould making company in India realize its international potential. Company eventually sold out to a major European aerospace company

Responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for the group, including new aquisitions and senior management recruitment.Established the integrated corporate services department for 3 separate mould making companies so that services such as sales resources purchasing power and human resources could be shared resulting in greater efficiency and cost saving

Lead a team involved in purchasing a mould repair shop of a large state owned company from the Slovenian government and converted it into a profitable stand alone private company. Also ran the international sales department of the group looking after sales for other group companies world wide.

Turned a large moulding and painting company in Mexico from a 600k/mth loss into profit in 6mths. Including establishing a new customer base and new working practices. Also trained a new management team.

Helped reorganize an old eastern European mould making company to cover the needs of the western European and US markets and then establihed the sales and marketing department that generated the sales required to make the company profitable
