I grew up in rural Michigan but have spent the last decade living and working abroad, gaining both professional and cultural experience across multiple countries. My background is working in the Defense industry, which I naturally gravitated towards after serving in the Air Force. I started in Structural Engineering and Facility Maintenance, then expanded into IT/Cybersecurity as a Network Technician, and later into Housing and Facility Management. This diverse background has given me a well-rounded perspective across technical, operational, and leadership roles. Currently, I serve as a Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) and Assistant Contract Maintenance Site Manager, supporting an Army Clinic and other health related facilities. In this role, I manage daily operations and lead our safety program in accordance with EM 385-1-1 standards, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a safe environment for patients, staff, and contractors. I believe that true excellence doesn’t come from pressure alone—it comes from building environments where people are motivated, safe, and able to perform at their best. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, reading, and watching sports. I’m passionate about history, philosophy, foreign languages, and travel.
