Dee Truong, a C-Level Executive with over 10 years in senior leadership positions in Canada and Vietnam, is an accomplished entrepreneur, business owner, philanthropist, and a passionate advocate for Vietnamese women and children. She has been featured in Harper's Bazaar as an Inspirational Female Entrepreneur investing in developing the future female leaders of Vietnam. Dee co-founded MDT Training in 2015 in Canada and expanded its operations to Vietnam in 2017, providing consulting and corporate training services in areas such as leadership training, communications and soft skills, sales and customer service experience, and coaching. MDT has worked with some of the largest multinationals in Canada and Vietnam, such as HSBC Bank, Sunlife, the Government of Canada, Geocomply, Teva Pharma, VNG, ILA Vietnam, Vietcombank, Vietin Bank, and many more. In 2021, MDT was named Top 10 Leadership Training Companies in Asia Pacific by HR Magazine. In 2024, MDT was named Top 20 training companies in Asia. In 2019, Dee became the CEO of VITA Clinic, Vietnam’s largest chain of premium beauty and wellness clinics, with 12 locations in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Dee has extensive experience in running the daily operations of the business and managing large teams of 300+ employees at VITA. She was also the founder and creator of Skin by VITA, a line of skincare products formulated specifically for Vietnamese skin and manufactured locally using the highest quality ingredients from Europe. Skin by VITA is sold in all VITA Clinic locations, at over 40 retail locations, as well as through online retailers and e-commerce. In 2024, Dee exited the business as CEO and shareholder of VITA Clinic. In November of 2024, Dee joined Hoan My Medical Corporation, Vietnam’s largest private healthcare provider with a network of 19 hospitals and clinics. She currently serves as the Group Chief Commercial Officer and is responsible for the growth and top line performance of the group. Dee is a McGill University and HEC Montreal graduate. She is a Canadian citizen of Vietnamese descent, perfectly fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese, with working proficiency in Spanish and a basic level of Mandarin. Dee also serves as the McGill University Ambassador for Vietnam. In her spare time, she is an active philanthropist involved in many organizations in Vietnam that promote the well-being and development of ethnic minorities, women, and children.
